Hi! I’m Abbey—a mom of two amazing boys and a full-time corporate gal working the 9-5 and the 5-9.
Mattie was born from my own journey as a working mom while preparing for my second maternity leave. With a demanding job, a toddler at home, and extreme pregnancy fatigue, just managing my daily responsibilities felt like a marathon. Add to that the pressure of planning and prepping for my maternity leave—it was a real challenge.
During my pregnancy, I started piecing together documentation, tools, and resources to ensure my team was set up for success while I stepped away. My goal was to be able to fully disconnect and enjoy four blissful months at home with my new baby boy. As I sent off the final documents to my team, I realized, “These tools could be a game-changer for other moms.”
And that’s how Mattie came to life—a suite of maternity leave planning resources designed to help you leave like a boss.
